Privacy Policy — Ignition Vitally Sidebar

What this extension does

The Ignition Vitally Sidebar is an internal Chrome extension for Ignition employees. It displays Vitally customer account information alongside Gmail emails to help account managers work more efficiently.

Data collected

• Your email address and name — fetched once from Ignition's internal Vitally API to identify you as the logged-in user. Cached locally in chrome.storage to avoid repeated lookups. Cleared when the extension is removed.
• Sender email addresses — read from the currently open Gmail email to look up the corresponding customer account. Sent to Ignition's internal API proxy. Not stored.
• Authentication token — a Cloudflare Access JWT cookie is read to verify your identity before any API request. Not stored beyond the request.

Data sharing

No data is sold or shared with third parties. All requests are routed to Ignition's own internal infrastructure.

Data retention

Your cached identity is stored locally in your browser's extension storage and is cleared when the extension is removed. No data is retained on any server.
